AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day summer and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Site Director youll lead a meaningful after-school program that helps kids learn grow and thrive.

Were looking for an early learning professional who:

In this role you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules ratios staffing and documentation
  • Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
  • Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Maintain licensing compliance documentation and readiness for inspections
  • Track and manage site resources attendance and food program requirements
  • Supervise and mentor your site team providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
  • Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
  • Build strong relationships with families school staff and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid certification required (can be obtained within first 30 days of employment)
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
  • Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
  • Must be 21 years of age according to licensing regulations.
  • Site Directors must meet 1 of the following requirements:

a. Bachelors Degree or higher in Early Childhood Child Development or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university. (Determination of related field shall be made by the Division);

b. Bachelors Degree in a non-related field from a regionally accredited college or university plus one (1) of the following:

Four (4) years of experience in early childhood education;

Child Development Associate Credential (CDA); or

Birth Pre-K Credential.

c. Associate degree in Early Childhood Child Development or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in Early Childhood Education; or

d. Eight (8) years of experience in Early Childhood Education and completion of one (1) of the following within two (2) years of employment:

Child Development Associate Credential;

Birth Pre-K Credential;

Directors Credential or the equivalent; or

Technical Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
