AlphaBEST Education Site Director (Full or Part-time)

Location: Various locations within Wellington CO (80549) and La Porte CO. (80535)

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day summer and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day.

For those with experience supporting students the Site Director role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before- and after-school program that helps kids learn grow and thrive.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules ratios staffing and documentation
  • Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
  • Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Maintain licensing compliance documentation and readiness for inspections
  • Track and manage site resources attendance and food program requirements
  • Supervise and mentor your site team providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
  • Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
  • Build strong relationships with families school staff and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

This role is ideal for educators with experience in:

  • Teaching or classroom leadership
  • Youth programs
  • Staff supervision or team leadership

Schedule: No Weekends! Monday-Friday. The Site Director is expected to report to their site from 6:15 am until school begins and from 15 minutes before school is released until 6:15 pm. The Site Director may also have time in between sessions for additional work.

Heres what youll need:

  • Must meet one of the following qualifications per CO licensing regulations:
    • completed a bachelors degree (in a related field such as recreation outdoor education elementary or early childhood education or a subject in the human service field)
    • 2 years of college education and 3 months (455 hours) of *satisfactory and verifiable experience
    • 3 years of *satisfactory and verifiable experience along with 6 semester hours or college education OR 40 clock hours of training in coursework applicable to school-age children. * Satisfactory and verifiable experience must have occurred after you were 18 years or older and must be for the care/supervision of children 4 years or older
    • Current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II version 3.0
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations

As an AlphaBEST Site Director youll be trained to do the following:

  • Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness the arts technology and more!
  • Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
  • Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite childrens sense of wonder.
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students interests and talents.
  • Provide a caring family-oriented environment where positive relationships among staff children parents and the school are fostered at your program site.
