As a Beauty Consultant you bring this experience to life by making every interaction in Cosmetics and Skin Care meaningful personalized and inspiring. You connect with guests through product recommendations beautyexpertise sampling and solution-based selling that helps guests discover products and routines tailored to their needs lifestyle and budget. Through authentic guest-first interactions you create confidence-building experiences that make beauty easy rewarding and enjoyable while driving loyaltybasket-building and sales growth.

• Adaptingcommunication style to buildatrusting relationship with guests and influence beauty regimens

• Providingpersonalized beauty product and regimen recommendations through guest engagement product trainingandsampling

• Retail business fundamentalsincludinginventory management guest shopping patternspricingand promotions strategies

• Beauty productknowledgeincluding beauty brands seasonal trendscosmeticsand various skincare products

As a Beauty Consultant no two daysare ever the same but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:

• Create an Easy Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:

• Greet:

• 10ft: be friendly smile make eye contact or wave

• 4ft: greet the guest smile andinitiatea warm helpful interaction

• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth easy shopping experience

• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you

• Actively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude

• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities.

• Create an inviting shopping environment byexecutingsalesfloor processesforCoreBeautyand Beauty Studio areas when applicablewhich includefilling the salesfloor with inventorystraightening merchandiseupdatingsalesfloor inventorycountsmaintainingtestersand making changes to salesfloor merchandise displays.

• Execute backroom processes forCoreBeautyand Beauty Studio areas when applicablewhich include organizing and storing reserveproducts.

• Stay current ontopbeauty brands and trends to engage guestswithpersonal recommendations and product sampling building loyalty and brand affinity.

• Support guest services such as back-up cashier order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties such as compliance with federal state and localadult beveragelaws.

• Alwaysdemonstratea culture of ethical conductsafetyand compliance.

• Work in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policiesbest practices and training; reporthazardsand correct where possible.

• All other dutiesbasedon business needs.

The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Beauty Consultant.Butthere are a few skills you should have from the get-go:

• 12 monthspreviousbeauty retail experience preferred but not

• Strong interest and knowledge of beauty and skincare products

• Welcoming and helpful attitude towardallguests and other team members

• Ability to communicate onmultiplefrequency devices andoperatehandheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed

• Effective communication skills

• Work both independently and with a team

• Resolve guest questions quicklyon the spot

• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment andaccomplishmultiple tasks within establishedtimeframes.

We are an awesome place to work and care about our teams so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect:

• Accurately handle cash register operationsas needed.

• Climb up and down ladders.

• Scanhandleand move merchandise efficiently and safely includingfrequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44poundswithoutadditionalassistance from others.

• Variableworkschedule(e.g. nightsweekendsand holidays); come to work when scheduledwork scheduled shifts and take required mealand rest breaks.

• Capable of working in and exposure tovaryingtemperatureshumidity and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up carryout etc.

• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
