About the team

The Transport Maintenance Services section plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the citys infrastructure ensuring safe functional and sustainable public assets. Our team provides comprehensive maintenance services for meter maintenance roads traffic lines and signs stormwater drainage systems bridges beaches footpaths and waterways.

About the role

Our Transport Maintenance Team are seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join the team as a Beaches Worker.

As the successful candidate you will form part of a work team that perform specialist tasks associated with the maintenance of the Citys foreshores and beaches.

• Maintenance and construction of dunal fencing
• Collection and disposal of debris spills litter and dead animals
• Control public at worksites
• Operation of minor equipment and machinery associated with various works tasks

Were looking for people who have:

• C Class Drivers Licence (unrestricted) (Mandatory)
• General Induction Construction White Card (Mandatory)
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Sound physical health to enable you to satisfactorily perform the physically demanding duties of this position
• Demonstrated ability to interact with others in a manner conducive to creating a cooperative team environment
• Effective numeracy and literacy skills commensurate with the requirements of the position
