Role Overview:
As our first Business Development Rep (BDR) you will play a crucial role in driving Lanterns growth by leading strategic outbound campaigns building relationships through networking events and contributing significantly to our sales pipeline.
This role is ideal for a sales professional with a year plus experience being a proactive and results-driven individual with a blending sales acumen and creative thinking capable of identifying and engaging high-value prospects effectively.
Youll work closely with everyone our Founder/CEO executives sales marketing and customer success to optimize outreach drive meaningful connections and unlock adjacent market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Outreach
- Utilize multi-channel approaches including email phone and social media to engage prospects
- Perform high-volume cold calling with a focus on quality conversations and booking meetings
- Relentlessly refine messaging based on customer value
Development
- Implement innovative outbound strategies to expand our prospect base
- Conduct thorough research on prospects and their industries to personalize outreach
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align positioning efforts with overall go-to-market
Sales Process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system
- Analyze outreach analytics to predict market trends to inform internal direction and decision-making
- Collaborate with sellers to ensure smooth handoffs and revenue progression
- Contribute actively to the companys revenue growth through pipeline generation
