SUMMARYThe Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops implements and evaluates behavioral treatment plans and provides behavioral therapy and other therapeutic services to program JOB FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:Collaborates with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team in the development implementation maintenance and generalization of behavioral change least restrictive treatment guidelines when implementing behavioral techniques and and supports program participant contact to promote behavioral change primarily in the areas of activities of daily living behavior management communication and social behavioral therapy and active treatment programming in residential job-site and community settings on an individual or group weekly documentation indicating treatment objectives strategies implemented and outcomes with staff insurance providers legal representatives service providers and family members regarding treatment recommendations participant progress and discharge in family education and therapy as in treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team and attends pre-admission meetings as as an active member of the rehabilitation and treatment evaluations progress reports and discharge summaries are completed accurately and submitted in a timely daily billing documentation and summaries accurately and in a timely compliance with applicable accreditation standards organizational policies professional ethics and confidentiality with the coordination and implementation of behavioral programming across residential community vocational and other service settings as ongoing support training and consultation to assigned team members regarding behavioral principles techniques and training oversight and guidance to BIT interns practicum students and other assigned trainees as in behavioral research projects and quality improvement initiatives as in the Crisis Intervention System and provides on-call support as other related duties and activities as RESPONSIBILITIESNone KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOBThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of the and ExperienceMasters degree in psychology behavior analysis education or a related field of five years of experience working with individuals with special needs or other populations requiring behavioral support and providing behavior analysis services in an applied setting Licenses and RegistrationsBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification state licensure or certification required as applicable to the position and service Skills and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles behavioral assessment treatment planning and intervention to develop implement monitor and modify individualized behavioral treatment communication documentation organizational and interpersonal to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams families and other service to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.N/AOther RequirementsTravel as required to support program participants and to work in residential community vocational and other service settings as in on-call and crisis intervention responsibilities as REQUIREMENTSLight work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than those required for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time the job is rated as light WITH DISABILITIES ACT STATEMENTExternal and internal applicants as well as position incumbents who become disabled must be able to perform the essential job functions of the position either independently or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation.
