Job Summary
Silver Creek Valley Country Club located in San Jose CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Process payment from customers
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposit
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Perform other duties as required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
- Alcohol Awareness Training
- Healthcare Benefits Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)
