Barrel Cell CNC Lathe 1st Shift

Milacron is looking for a CNC Lathe Operator to join our team in Mt. Orab Ohio. The CNC Lathe operator will work as part of the direct manufacturing shop floor this position the CNC Lathe operator will use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately in a manufacturing environment. This highly skilled professional will work with great concentration and precision while complying with all safety guidelines. The CNC lathe operator will be able to start and power down the machine make size adjustments and understand the measuring instrument while maintaining a good part. This position is also responsible for changing and teaching tools (O.D. I.D. drills and cutoffs) change overs and loading programs while meeting production requirements. This position requires the operation of machinery in a temperature-controlled manufacturing position requires the ability to read instructions and follow these instructions with precision to produce Youll Do:Operate and adjust machine controls; make size adjustments and use measuring instruments (micrometers) to ensure accuracyChange and teach tools (O.D. I.D. drills cutoff) replace drills/inserts and perform changeoversBore chuck jaws; load edit read and understand programsMaintain proper cycle times feed rates and spindle speedsInspect products for conformance and ensure highest quality outputPerform operator preventative maintenance; submit maintenance repair requests as neededTrack production quantities and time; report issues malfunctions or defectsStop production if parts do not meet required specificationsProperly identify all product with work order number inspection status and operation statusFollow all safety guidelines and operate machinery safelyMaintain physical presence as required including weekends/holidays if neededPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:High school diploma;Higher degree from a technical school preferred#LI-ONSITE #LI-JM1
