Technical Requirements

Espresso Machine Operation: Proficient in using manual and automatic espresso machines to prepare a variety of coffee beverages.
Latte Art Skills: Ability to create basic latte art or a willingness to learn.
Grinder Calibration: Experience adjusting grinders to ensure optimal coffee extraction.
POS System Use: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for processing orders and payments.
Inventory Management: Ability to track and restock coffee milk syrups and other supplies as needed.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures for coffee equipment and maintaining a clean workspace.
Food Safety Certification: (If applicable) A current food handlers certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Product Knowledge: Understanding of coffee origins brewing methods and flavor profiles to assist guests in making informed choices.

Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods and perform tasks that require lifting (e.g. milk cartons coffee bags).
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and the ability to resolve guest or equipment issues effectively.
Hospitality Mindset: Goes beyond the task of serving drinks to create meaningful guest experiences.
