The Queen Bee provides a unique experience serving delicious sweet and savory crumpets and specialty coffee! We are looking for a coffee enthusiast to join our exceptional team!

The Queen Bee is dedicated to all strong resourceful mothers and nurturing women. Aegis Livings owner Dwayne Clark started the Queen Bee in 2014. His mother Colleen Clark was the Queen Bee in his family and created the Queen Bee in her memory. Colleen was a single mother of British roots who provided for her family as a hard-working line cook. Her skills as a mother mirrored her skills in the kitchen. Colleen kneaded into her son the self confidence that he could do anything sifted that together with a generosity of spirit tempered that with a sense of humor and added a dash of flamboyance to spice up life.

Whether your taste buds crave savory or sweet Queen Bee offers traditional English crumpets (also called a griddle cake) in a new way with locally sourced products and produce in tasty combinations along with a cup of Middle Fork coffee or espresso. Whats more At the Queen Bee we give all our profits to local non-profits!

• Prepares food and beverages quickly and according to recipe; correctly customizes orders as requested
• Maintains proper inventory control of products; day-dots all applicable products rotates using FIFO method tracks waste as needed
• Describes product details to customers and suggests items as appropriate to increase sales
• Keep café stocked clean and organized
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment utensils dishes work areas and seating areas
• Ensures proper functioning of equipment
• Communicates positively
• Manages time effectively and upholds attendance and punctuality standards
• Flexibility with schedule and willingness/ability to work weekends holidays and events to meet business needs
• Handles cash correctly and accurately manages till; rings in products correctly
• Utilizes tools and systems provided by management to effectively complete job requirements
