Job Summary:

The Orthopedic Program Coordinator provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Orthopedic Service
Line Program. The coordinator is responsible for supporting clinical staff and physicians with the management
of the orthopedic patient population through the continuum of care. The coordinator assists with program
development managing the accreditation process and ensuring continuous compliance with the Joint
Commission Orthopedic certification requirements. This requires maintaining applicable policies and procedures
staff education data collection quality improvement efforts and patient education.

1. Serves as a clinical leader change agent andclinical resource. Assists in the management of patientcare needs operational issues and resource
recommendations.

2. Assumes a leadership role in orthopedicprogram development in facilitating change to enhancedelivery of services and to develop evidence-based
practice.
and interprets data that facilitatesclinical practice patterns actively participates in areas forprocess improvement and implementation of solutionsthat positively influence patient outcomes.

4. Participates in clinical research and evidence based practice.

Minimum Education Experience Training and Licensures Required:

• Current KY License in Nursing (RN)

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Masters Degree preferred

• Two years of job-related experience required

• Experience in quality/performance improvement systems statistical processes or data analysis

• Must obtain MSN within Three (3) Years

• Must obtain Orthopedics certification within Two (2) Years
