Job Summary
- Prepare sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with production plan or forecast needs
- Wrap date and rotate food items
- Utilize whole food products eliminating any waste
- Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
- Alert chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns food overages or shortages in a timely manner
- Requisition inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production
- Ensure proper storage of food items
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Perform other duties as required
- 12 years of prior cook or food production experience; certified culinary training is a plus
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Strong communication skills
- Must have flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and under pressure with organization and timing
