Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Club located in Seaside CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Banquet Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fastâpaced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofâTroon youll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour (Service Charges and Employee Meals included)
- Prepares function siteâsââandâassures meeting roomsââareâ set according to specifications.
- Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
- ââSets dining tables buffets and other service areasâaccording to Banquet Event Order or as directed.âââ
- âââAttends and activelyparticipatesin pre-shift meetingsââââ.
- Communicates âspecialârequests and concerns to the department manager.
- ââHelps tomaintainclean banquetâandâkitchenâareasââ.
- âââOverseesallequipment with care.ââ
- Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
- Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
- Incorporates safeâand sanitaryâworkpracticesâthroughoutâ job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees clients and vendors.
- Performs other duties asrequired.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience andâtrainingâ.
- Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops kneels crawls or crouches; talks or hears.
- Occasionally sits; climbs or balances.
- Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionallyâ works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Noiselevel is moderate.
- ââServSafeCertified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.â
- Ability to read and speak English may berequiredin order toperform the duties of the job ( associates maybe requiredto communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
