Banquet Server

Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Club located in Seaside CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Banquet Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fastâpaced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation: $18.00 per hour (Service Charges and Employee Meals included)

General Purpose:

Serves banquet functionguestsfood and beverage items in a promptprofessionaland courteous mannerâwhile creating memorable experiencesâ.

Essential Duties:

• Prepares function siteâsââandâassures meeting roomâsââareâset according to specifications.

• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.

• ââSets dining tables buffets and other service areasââaccording to Banquet Event Order or as directed.âââ

• âââAttends and activelyparticipatesin pre-shift meetingsââââ

• communicatesâspecialârequests and concerns to the departmentmanager

• ââHelps tomaintainclean banquetâandâkitchenâareasââ

• âââOverseesallequipment with care.ââ

• Assistsin inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.

• Ensuresthe guestsare providedwith excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.

• Incorporates safeâand sanitaryâworkpracticesâthroughoutâjob performance.

• Regular and reliable attendance.

• Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employeesclientsand vendors.

• Performs other duties asrequired.

ââMinimumRequirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience andââtrainingââ

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops kneels crawls or crouches; talks or hears. Occasionallysits;climbs or upto 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to âworks in outdoor weather is moderate.â

Certificates/Licenses:

ââServSafeCertified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.â

• Ability to read and speak English may berequiredin order toperform the duties of the job ( associates maybe requiredto communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
