Job Summary
Silver Creek Valley Country Club located in San Jose CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Banquet Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Range:
$18.45 - $30.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare function site and assure meeting room is set according to specifications
- Serve food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines
- Set dining tables buffets and other service areas according to Banquet Event Order or as directed
- Communicate guest requests and concerns to the department manager
- Help to maintain a clean banquet or catering kitchen coolers and equipment
- Assist in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area
- Ensure guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of banquet setting and service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
Other Qualifications:
- Demonstrates good energy and motivation
- Knowledge of banquet set up
- Regular and reliable attendance
