What Youll Do

The Banquet Server supports the Café Manager Banquet Coordinator and Nutritional Services team in planning and executing successful meetings banquets and events. This role helps ensure rooms meals and event spaces are prepared and maintained to meet guest and host needs.

• Coordinate room bookings and work with vendors and meeting hosts to support event planning and execution.
• Set up conference and banquet rooms including tables chairs linens silverware and other equipment according to event needs.
• Assist with meal preparation and service in collaboration with the Sous Chef and Nutritional Services team.
• Transport food supplies and equipment to and from the conference center and assist with event breakdown and cleanup.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who Were Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable customer-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced banquet and food service environment. Experience in banquet service food service or a similar role is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Obtain Food Handler Certification from an ANSI-accredited program within one month of hire and maintain current certification throughout employment.
• One year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations commercial kitchen operations equipment and banquet service practices preferred.
• Strong customer service communication interpersonal and teamwork skills required. Must be proficient in HealthStream Kronos and CHHC Dietary within six months of hire.

What We Offer

Our total rewards package includes

• Pay Range: $17.50 - $21.87/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: $2$4/hour for nights and weekends and other incentive pay available.
• PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
