Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Banquet Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
The Banquet Server supports the successful execution of private events at our country club by handling all aspects of setâup service and breakdown. This role is ideal for someone who is detailâoriented enjoys fastâpaced event environments and takes pride in creating polished memorable experiences for members and guests. Hours vary based on scheduled events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event SetâUp Prepare banquet spaces according to event orders including tables linens chairs buffets décor service stations and equipment
- Service Execution Provide attentive professional food and beverage service during events following club standards
- Breakdown & Reset Clear rooms store equipment properly reset spaces and ensure areas are left clean and organized
- Operational Support Assist with polishing glassware/silver stocking supplies moving equipment and other duties as assigned
- Team Collaboration Work closely with banquet captains culinary staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth event flow
- Prior banquet or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working long shifts nights weekends and holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills and a polished professional demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing event needs
- Reliable punctual and teamâoriented
- Partâtime hours vary based on event calendar
- Shifts include evenings weekends and holidays
