Job Summary
Deerfield Golf Club is currently hiring five (5) PartâTime Banquet Servers to support our Food & Beverage operations. Ideal candidates are hardworking dependable and have a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
As a Banquet Server you will play a key role in delivering exceptional member and guest experiences by assisting in the daily execution of banquets events and dining functions at the property.

- Perform the correct policies and procedures
- Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables decoration equipment serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining
- Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes substitutions or special requests
- Responsible for serving clients during events (refilling drinks delivering food bussing tables etc.)
- Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
- Must have 1-2 years of related experience in F&B
- Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
- Must have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experience
- Must be highly organized efficient and detail-oriented
- Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have strong service orientation
- Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing walking bending and scooping
- The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands
- The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 30lbs.
- Use of sight reading wrist movement to serve meals and beverages operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
- Specific vision abilities include close distance color and peripheral vision and depth perception
- Noise level is typically moderate
- Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
- Work weekends and holidays
