Job Title: BartenderJob Department: Food & Beverages - RestaurantsJob Pay Range: $16.00 - $32.00 / hour (Inclusive of hourly pay rate service charge)Breakdown: Based on $2.17 per hour base wage service charge commission paid per shift; historically this position averages service charge commission earnings of $13.00 - $30.00 per hour. Service charges fluctuate based on the time of position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per Summary:As a Banquet Bartender you will manage an extensive wine and spirits list and provide attentive personalized service to guests at the bar. Maintain strict cleanliness guide guests through food-and-drink pairings and work closely with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure an upscale dining experience. Other duties may be assigned:Mix classic and craft cocktails with precise measurements proper glassware and sophisticated bar guests warmly take drink orders and offer expert recommendations on wine spirits and menu fulfill drink orders for dining room servers while managing full service for guests seated directly at the deep knowledge of the restaurants entire food menu seasonal or daily specials wine lists and allergen stock levels handle precise daily inventory and keep bar impeccably clean polished and guest alcohol consumption responsibly and adhere to all health and sanitation with serving staff and kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders and proper timing of the table numbers and pivot points for all areas of the tips in accordance with IRS complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines operational procedures safety policies and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoors history estate grounds wilderness properties culinary offerings and retail additional duties and responsibilities as required.
