Banquet Lead

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Banquet Lead manages daily operations of WRCC including restaurant appearance presentation customer experience professional leadership and direction to all employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensures compliance with operational standards company policies federal/state/local laws and ordinances.

• Ensures all prepared menu items meet quality expectations and plate specifications 100% of the time.

• Prepares menu items strictly adhering to recipe guidelines as ordered for patrons

• Previews daily BEOs.

• Follows proper personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by health department.

• Plans the serving details and orchestrates in a timely manner. Meeting with planners prior to during and at the conclusion of the event to discuss details last minute requests and gathering feedback.

• Supervises the hourly team leading them with enthusiasm.

• Enforces safety and sanitary practices and maintenance for WRCC.

• Completes all relevant SOPS (compliance and procedural items).

• Completes all relevant Systems in Place.

• Exercises good judgement and makes well-informed decisions.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in banquet facility

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:

• Ability to work as a team

• Ability to work both fast and accurately

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regular walking standing and lifting up to 50lbs

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures policies and practices.
