What Youll Do

In this role youll help create welcoming and well-executed events that support patients staff and the community. Youll coordinate every stage of banquet and meeting services while ensuring exceptional customer service smooth operations and attention to detail throughout each event.

• Coordinate and oversee banquets meetings and special events to ensure successful execution.
• Collaborate with customers vendors and internal departments on event planning menus scheduling and logistics.
• Maintain conference center schedules online calendars and event-related communication.
• Assist with room setup food service event breakdown and transportation of banquet equipment as needed.
• Support invoicing payment collection and internal event charging processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and customer service standards throughout all events.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned

Who Were Looking For

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills flexibility creativity and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff vendors and guests. Success in this role requires attention to detail adaptability and a hands-on approach to event coordination and service.

• Two to three years of experience in banquet coordination hospitality food service or a related field preferred.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program required within one month of hire.
• Knowledge of food safety sanitation practices and commercial kitchen operations preferred.
• Strong customer service interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to become proficient in required scheduling dietary and healthcare software systems within six months of hire.
