Banquet Bartender | Part-Time | The Bushnell

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service during conventions meetings banquets receptions galas and special events. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced event environment. The Banquet Bartender ensures compliance with responsible alcohol service practices maintains a clean and organized work area and contributes to the successful execution of all events.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 - $20.00.

• Prepare and serve beer wine cocktails mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages according to event specifications and company standards.
• Deliver friendly professional and efficient service to guests during events.
• Set up and break down banquet bars including stocking products glassware garnishes and supplies.
• Verify guest age and monitor alcohol consumption in accordance with applicable laws and responsible beverage service guidelines.
• Accurately operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions when applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas throughout events.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors and barbacks.
• Assist with inventory control and product accountability procedures.
• Work closely with banquet captains servers culinary staff and event leadership to ensure seamless event execution.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns.
• Follow all food safety sanitation health and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with post-event cleanup and closing procedures.

• Previous bartending experience in hospitality catering restaurants hotels convention centers stadiums arenas or banquet operations preferred.
• Knowledge of beer wine spirits and cocktail preparation.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems when required.
• Alcohol service certification required or ability to obtain it upon hire.
• Food handler certification preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings weekends holidays and event-based hours.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to bend stoop reach and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in crowded and fast-paced event environments.
• Ability to transport beverage products ice and supplies as needed.
