Pay: $145000.00 - $205000.00 per year

Location:

Sacramento CA Hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two remote days typically Monday and Friday.

Note:

Must have an active California Bar license and 3 years of bankruptcy insolvency and creditor-side/creditors rights experience. More senior attorneys are welcome and candidates from in-house or solo practice backgrounds will be considered.

Job Description

• Represent creditors and business clients in bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
• Handle creditor-side and creditors rights matters from strategy through resolution.
• Analyze bankruptcy proceedings restructuring issues claims and related disputes.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions pleadings briefs and other legal documents.
• Participate in discovery negotiations hearings and other bankruptcy proceedings.
• Advise clients on insolvency risks creditor remedies and strategic options.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Manage matters independently while contributing to a highly experienced legal team.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission.
• 3 years of bankruptcy and insolvency experience.
• Substantive creditor-side or creditors rights experience.
• Strong legal research writing analytical and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Strong interest in developing a sophisticated bankruptcy and insolvency practice.
