Location: Warren MI fully on-site with additional opportunities potentially available at our Dearborn Heights Flint Saginaw and Ypsilanti offices depending on candidate location and business needs.

Note: Must have an active Michigan Bar license. Candidates should be highly organized detail oriented dependable self-motivated and comfortable managing a high-volume bankruptcy practice.

Job Description

• Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy matters and guide them through the legal process.
• Manage a high volume of active bankruptcy cases while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Prepare review and file pleadings petitions motions and other legal documents.
• Communicate directly with clients creditors courts and opposing counsel.
• Analyze client financial circumstances and develop effective legal strategies.
• Advocate for clients against banks creditors and other parties.
• Maintain accurate case files deadlines documentation and follow-up throughout each matter.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide efficient high-quality representation.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Bar license required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload in a high-volume environment.
• Detail oriented dependable proactive and comfortable taking ownership of work.
• Bankruptcy consumer law creditors rights or related litigation experience is a strong plus.
