Job Description

• Represent businesses and individuals in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
• Advise clients throughout the Chapter 11 process from case strategy through plan confirmation.
• Draft bankruptcy petitions motions pleadings disclosure statements and reorganization plans.
• Appear before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for hearings and contested matters.
• Negotiate with creditors trustees opposing counsel and other stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy.
• Develop strategic solutions for financially distressed businesses.
• Maintain regular communication with clients while providing practical legal advice.
• Collaborate with attorneys across business litigation and insolvency matters as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 2 years of bankruptcy law experience.
• Direct Chapter 11 debtor representation experience is required.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Strong legal writing analytical negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and client communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice.
