A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing debtors creditors lenders committees investors and other stakeholders in sophisticated bankruptcy restructuring insolvency and distressed transactions matters.

26 years of bankruptcy restructuring insolvency or creditors rights experience

Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings out-of-court restructurings workouts distressed transactions and bankruptcy litigation preferred

Experience representing debtors secured lenders creditors committees purchasers or other stakeholders in bankruptcy and restructuring matters

Experience drafting pleadings motions financing documents restructuring agreements and related transactional documentation

Strong legal research writing analytical and advocacy skills

Ability to manage matters independently while working directly with clients

Experience appearing in bankruptcy courts and other state or federal courts preferred

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring platform

Exposure to Chapter 11 proceedings workouts and distressed transactions

Significant client interaction and responsibility
