Pay Range*:$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.

About the Opportunity
Were looking for a Background Investigator where youll play a pivotal role in protecting one of the nations most sensitive and highly regulated industries.
What Youll Do
As a key member of the security and compliance team you will:
- Conduct comprehensive background investigations for individuals seeking unescorted access to nuclear generation facilities.
- Verify and evaluate personal professional and security-related information to determine an individuals trustworthiness and eligibility.
- Support onboarding and in-processing activities particularly during plant outages and peak operational periods.
- Perform personnel risk assessments to identify and mitigate insider threats including fraud theft workplace violence domestic terrorism and reputational risks.
- Adjudicate background investigation findings while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor on security screening processes investigative standards and access authorization policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations and compliance frameworks including NERC FERC and nuclear security requirements.
What Youll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service administrative operations background screening security compliance or related fields.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Capability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments especially during high-volume outage and onboarding periods.
