Backend Software Engineer

Build and maintain reliable backend services integrations and data workflows that advance the roadmap in a compliant supportable and operationally sound manner.

As a Backend Software Engineer you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our impact on patient safety. You will:

• Design build and maintain backend services and integrations using Go Python SQL and related tooling.

• Troubleshoot production issues resolve bugs and improve dependency hygiene and operational maintainability.

• Write clear well-tested code and participate actively in peer review and technical planning.

• Use cloud and shell-based tooling to support deployment diagnostics automation and system operations.

• Programming languages: Proficiency in Go Python Bash and SQL; experience with JavaScript is a plus.

• Operating Systems & Cloud: Linux (Debian) expertise; GCP (Kubernetes/GKE Cloud Firestore Cloud Storage BigQuery) experience.

• Engineering Practices: Experience with CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab) and build tools (e.g. Please Bazel Buck or Pants).

• Architecture & APIs: Expertise building web services using OpenAPI.

• Healthcare & Regulated Environments: Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries where security privacy (e.g. HIPAA) and multi-tenant platform familiarity are critical.

• Operational Experience: Familiarity with on-prem deployments and data integration/engineering tooling.
