Backend Developer Production Support

Location: Dallas TX

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid onsite 23 days/week

• Pay Rate: $65.00$72.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM MondayFriday; standard 40 hours/week (possible overtime)

This is a Software Developer Technical Support role to support the Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM) team within the GBME Fixed Income US Dallas business group. The focus will be on the integration between the upstream and downstream systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about MCM and about commercial real estate finance.

• Previous experience working in mortgage capital markets
• Experience using job scheduling and orchestration tools such as CRON Tidal or Airflow
• Experience using application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace for performance monitoring troubleshooting and incident analysis
• Experience working in an Agile environment with a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• 10 years of experience designing developing deploying and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations (experience with modern programming languages such as Java and/or Python; developing and consuming Web Services and APIs)
• 4 years of experience with data technologies and databases including one or more of the following: PostgreSQL Microsoft SQL Server Oracle Apache NiFi Apache Kafka Elasticsearch with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets (experience writing reading and executing SQL scripts)
• 2 years of experience with front-end technologies including Angular React and JavaScript
• 4 years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Maven Gradle and Jenkins
• 3 years of experience working with cloud platforms preferably Microsoft Azure or GCP and Kubernetes
• 3 years of experience with test automation (includes SRE monitoring and synthetic monitoring)

• The interview process consists of 2 rounds with a technical assessment sent to selected candidates prior to the first interview; candidates are invited to the first interview based on assessment results.
• Round 1: IT Manager 1 hour Teams Video technical/design-related questions
• Round 2: Business Team & IT Manager 1.5 hours in-person technical questions
