Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Sample Supports is seeking motivated undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on experience in residential services case coordination quality assurance and community-based supports.

This internship offers meaningful exposure to residential service delivery while working alongside experienced professionals in a person-centered organization. Whether youre pursuing social work psychology healthcare administration or another helping profession youll develop practical skills that prepare you for a career in human services.

What Youll Do

Working under the supervision of Residential Services leadership you will:

  • Assist with quality assurance reviews and documentation audits.
  • Support compliance monitoring for Medicaid and state regulations.
  • Participate in residential visits and provider support activities.
  • Help maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Track training requirements incident reports and compliance materials.
  • Communicate professionally with providers families guardians and team members.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
  • Learn residential licensing requirements and agency standards.
  • Observe and report health safety or compliance concerns.
  • Build professional relationships with clients providers and community partners.
  • Gain limited exposure to direct support services to better understand residential programming.
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional standards.
