Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

Summary:

• Performs on and off aircraft electrical modification to electrical wiring and system components.

• Performs complex connector terminations including shielded wires coaxial cables and fiber optic wiring.

• Understands wire handling and routing instructions for electrical assemblies.

• Performs sealing wrapping bonding tying and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings technical orders process specifications and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification or repair.

• Troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft electrical and environmental systems of moderate difficulty at organizational or depot maintenance level.

• Performs aircraft bench and flight line operational testing and troubleshooting per DOD manufacturer and company directives.

• Performs assembly installation check-out operational testing and modification of wire bundles in aircraft testing and development.

• Interprets standard work instructions charts tables blueprints wire diagrams formulas sketches and verbal or electronic orders.

• Uses precision measuring instruments gauges and tools to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• 4 years of experience in electrical modification wiring connector terminations and troubleshooting on aircraft.

• 4 years of experience knowledgeable in electrical and electronic theories and systems sufficient to perform assigned duties.

• Ability to perform on and off aircraft electrical modification to wiring and system components.

• Experience with complex connector terminations including shielded wires coaxial cables and fiber optic wiring.

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings technical orders process specifications and retrofit requirements.

• Experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and environmental systems.

• Experience with assembly installation operational testing and modification of wire bundles.

• Ability to work rotating shifts weekends holidays and overtime as required.

• Preferred: Experience with Depot Level or Modification maintenance and ability to operate forklift mobile crane and elevating equipment.
