Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support a direct client engagement in Blythewood SC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience administering Azure DevOps/TFS environments managing source control systems supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
This role will play a key part in improving development operations release management source code governance and deployment automation across enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Azure DevOps and Team Foundation Server (TFS) environments
- Manage source control repositories branching strategies and code promotion processes
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployments
- Support software development teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Develop and maintain release management and configuration management processes
- Establish and enforce source code governance standards and best practices
- Create and manage deployment workflows across development testing and production environments
- Troubleshoot build deployment and source control issues
- Collaborate with developers project teams and stakeholders to improve DevOps processes
- Document procedures workflows and technical standards
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Azure DevOps / TFS Administration experience
- 5 years of Visual Studio experience
- 5 years of Source Control Management experience
- 5 years of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Management experience
- Strong experience with:
- Configuration Management
- Release Management
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Experience designing and implementing source code governance and promotion workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise software development environments
- Strong understanding of DevOps best practices and automation strategies
- Experience with build and release pipeline optimization
- Excellent communication documentation and troubleshooting skills
