Azure Cloud Systems Engineer
Location: Suitland MD
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI
Leidos is seeking an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer in Suitland MD to design implement and maintain enterprise Azure architecture supporting Zero Trust tools identity services and security monitoring platforms.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engineer Azure resource groups subscriptions networking virtual machines identity integrations and cloud baselines.
- Design hybrid-cloud integration supporting on-premises and cloud-based Zero Trust platforms.
- Provide cloud architecture documentation diagrams integration schemas and operational support.
- Implement automation monitoring security baselines and cloud compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in CS IT MIS or in a related discipline with 8 years of experience or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- 7 years Azure engineering experience including automation and cloud-native architectures.
- 5 years Cloud platform management deployment and monitoring (AWS Azure).
- Skilled with PowerShell Python ARM/Bicep and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting RMF and cloud security compliance.
Required Certifications:
- Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification.
