Job Summary
The Opportunity:
The Cloud Engineer will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data applications and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
This job is to include but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
Administer Exchange Online SharePoint Teams and OneDrive.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues.
Conducting risk assessments
Identifying technical requirements
Managing project timelines
Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
Providing post-migration support and addressing any issues that arise.
Documenting configurations processes and procedures.
Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.
Implement security and compliance policies.
Manage user accounts permissions and licensing.
Ensuring seamless integration security and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online SharePoint Teams and OneDrive.
Day Shift - Mon-Fri
Ability to work on call
Qualifications:
Required
- 8 years Experience and HS or GED or 3 Years Experience and Bachelors
- Currently a US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI with Poly (no waiver minimum requirement)
- DoD 8570 IA Type: IAT Level 2
- DOD 8570 Certification Requirements: Comp TIA A CE / Comp TIA Network CE
Mandatory Skills:
- Cloud Architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
- Powershell
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
- Proven experience as an M365 Engineer Cloud Engineer or similar role with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects.
- Python
- Strong ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online SharePoint Teams and OneDrive.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
- Strong organizational communication and collaboration skills
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms including identity management authentication mechanisms and security controls
- Understanding of cloud security compliance and governance.

Pay Range:
