Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Azure & Google Cloud Engineer (Contractor) to support cloud infrastructure application modernization data integration and platform operations across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing implementing securing and maintaining cloud-native solutions while ensuring scalability reliability and compliance with enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities Design implement and support cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or similar platforms. Configure and support cloud networking security identity management and access controls. Monitor cloud environments troubleshoot issues and optimize performance and costs. Implement backup disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure and GCP. Work closely with application development data engineering cybersecurity and infrastructure teams. Ensure compliance with organizational security governance and operational standards. Maintain technical documentation architecture diagrams and operational procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field. 7 years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure management. Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure (App Services Storage Accounts Azure SQL Functions Key Vault Networking) Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine Cloud Storage Cloud SQL GKE IAM) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ARM Templates Bicep). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Strong understanding of networking DNS firewalls VPNs identity and access management. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or Bash. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-104 AZ-305 AZ-400). Google Cloud Certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with Kubernetes Docker and container orchestration platforms. Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization projects. Knowledge of data integration and analytics platforms. Desired Skills Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
