Job Summary

Kadiak LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an AWS Windows Engineer Lead with a Top-Secret security clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Vienna VA. The position is hybrid 4days onsite 1 day offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an experienced AWS Windows Engineer Lead to spearhead the design deployment and management of our Windows-based infrastructure within the AWS cloud ecosystem. This leadership role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and the ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers driving best practices and innovation across our cloud Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Windows Infrastructure:Deploy configure and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)Manage Active Directory Group Policy DNS and DHCPAdminister Microsoft 365 and related servicesPerform patching updates and vulnerability remediationTroubleshoot complex Windows system issuesAWS Cloud and VM services:Build and manage Windows workloads on AWS (EC2 RDS FSx)Configure and maintain AWS Directory ServiceImplement cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation or TerraformManage IAM roles policies and security groupsOptimize cloud costs and resource utilizationUnderstanding of security vulnerabilities/complianceDevelop automation using PowerShell and AWS CLIFamiliar with VMware or virtualization platformsSkills and Competencies:Microsoft certifications (MCSE Azure Hybrid Administrator or equivalent)AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or SysOps Administrator)5 years experience in Windows engineering3 years hands-on AWS experience2 years in a technical leadership or lead engineer rolePowerShell scripting and automation Personal Attributes:Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and develop a teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesOutstanding communication skills able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiencesStrategic thinker with a proactive approach to continuous improvementAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative mindset with a focus on delivering business valueClearance Requirement:Top-Secret security clearance with SCI PolyEducation:Bachelors degree in related field or 4 years of related experience.
