Job Summary
Job Title: AWS Backend Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement AI/ML solutions leveraging Agentic AI architectures A2A (Agent-to-Agent) frameworks and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.
- AWS platform and services knowledge including AWS Lambda API Gateway and EMR/Hudi/Glue/Kafka/Flink with Java Spring Boot CI/CD using Terraform/Concourse/Jenkins
- AWS AKAMAI ETL data processing
- Python/Pyspark Bedrock Agentcore Terraform
- Spark MongoDB/ DynamoDB/Aurora
- Associate or Architect. Ability to understand the future Architecture and guide the team with require technical direction
- 7 years of experience in cloud development (preferably 8-12 yrs but may not have all been in AWS)
- Should know ETL to streaming process: Should understand Informatica and be able to convert that to Kafka and AWS data flow
- Develop MVP User Stories (Re-usable components/ APIs / UI / Mock stubs etc.)
- Support backlog creation prioritization and Story mapping
- Support in technical design and solutioning
- Ability to work across tiers UI development APIs databases (basic developer level tasks)
- Ability to utilize DevOps CI/CD pipeline create/configure build and deploy jobs
- Experience working in XP and pair programming model and understands and performs TDD
