• Ingest and review client-provided Aviatrix artifacts: reference architecture documents design diagrams and POC documentation.
• Conduct over-the-shoulder review sessions in which the client walks through their design and current POC state (you will not access client systems environments or tooling directly).
• Assess the architecture across AWS Azure and GCP with greater depth on AWS as the primary cloud provider. Form expert recommendations across core domains:
• Control plane - controller HA CoPilot transit hubs
• Segmentation - network domain segmentation mapped against the clients security zones
• Security insertion - FireNet and Palo Alto insertion per cloud provider
• Routing - BGP and routing policy
• Connectivity - circuit ingest patterns (Direct Connect ExpressRoute Cloud Interconnect)
• Deliver a comparative advisory on Aviatrix vs. Graphiant as network transit control-plane options including your view on Aviatrix Graphiant or a combination of the two.
• Produce a light Phase 2 roadmap and a high-level operational handoff outline.
• Deliver a final high-level design (HLD) readout / knowledge-transfer session. ExpectationsA Networking Recommendations Package delivered in Microsoft Word and/or PowerPoint with supporting conceptual diagrams including: architecture observations and a requirements summary; segmentation and security-zoning recommendations; routing BGP and circuit-ingest guidance; FireNet and Palo Alto insertion recommendations per cloud provider; the Aviatrix vs. Graphiant comparison and advisory; and a prioritized Phase 2 roadmap with a high-level operational handoff outline. A draft package is expected at roughly week 4 with the final package and readout at roughly week Qualifications
• Deep demonstrable Aviatrix expertise (controller CoPilot transit network architecture FireNet).
• Strong multi-cloud networking background across AWS Azure and GCP - with AWS depth essential.
• Hands-on experience inserting and architecting Palo Alto firewalls in cloud environments.
• Solid command of BGP and cloud routing design.
• Experience with cloud connectivity / circuit ingest (Direct Connect ExpressRoute Cloud Interconnect).
• Experience designing network segmentation and security zoning ideally aligned to enterprise security-zone and Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce clear architecture documentation and lead executive and technical readouts. Nice to Have
• Familiarity with Graphiant or other network-as-a-service transit / control-plane platforms.
• Prior experience in an advisory or consulting capacity. Work ArrangementFully remote. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday local business hours with flexibility based on client needs. No travel is anticipated for this engagement.
