Auxiliary Equipment Product Manager

Milacron is seeking an Auxiliary Equipment Product Manager to join our team in Batavia OH to provide technical expertise and commercial support to the Milacron Sales Team and Customer Base for injection molding auxiliary equipment and systems. This role is focused on system optimization and customer support working closely with Milacron vendors / partners field sales team service team aftermarket support marketing group and engineering teams. The ideal candidate has solid injection molding experience and excels at troubleshooting process improvement and has strong commercial acumen to support in the quoting process as well as the presentation process of complete auxiliary equipment ResponsibilitiesAct as technical and commercial support for auxiliary systems within North Central and South America in collaboration with the field sales applications and auxiliary team membersPerform on-site evaluations of injection molding processes and existing auxiliary equipment at customer locationsSupport and recommend the proper application of auxiliary equipment and auxiliary systems including but not limited to:Resin drying and moisture control equipment both central systems and beside the press applicationsMaterial vacuum conveying multi-material blending systems and additive feeding systemsMold temperature control units Central Heat Transfer Systems (water oil hot runner controllers)Robotics part handling downstream automation equipment and other automation processesQuick Mold Change Products Magnetic Clamps Hydraulic Clamping Systems Mold TablesAssist sales teams by validating technical requirements system configurations and application feasibilityWhere necessary support equipment installation startup commissioning and process optimizationWork directly with customer process engineers maintenance teams and operators to resolve technical challengesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and feedback to engineering and product development teamsOther duties as assigned by your manager/senior leadership to accelerate Value Capture Growth plansTechnical Qualifications35 years of experience in injection molding plastics processing or auxiliary equipment applications/supportStrong understanding of injection molding processes and auxiliary system integrationWorking knowledge of polymer behavior drying theory and material handling fundamentalsAbility to diagnose process-related issues and recommend corrective actionsComfortable working in manufacturing environments and performing on-site technical supportPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience as a process engineer applications engineer molding technician or injection molding field sales representativeAutomation Experience with 6 Axis Articulating Robot Applications and downstream automation or Bachelors degree in Plastics Engineering Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field; professional experience may offset for formal educationExperience supporting centralized material handling systems or multi-machine installationsAbility to read and interpret mechanical electrical and pneumatic schematicsTravel & Work Requirements30-40% regional travelOn-site work in industrial manufacturing environmentsValid drivers license#LI-MR1
