The ability to effectively and accurately diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles is a must. A positive attitude and your own tools are also requirements. Emissions tester or ASE certifications a plus. Automotive Technician Requirements:
- Ability to repair vehicles independently while also having experience working well in a team environment.
- Knowledge in automotive brakes exhaust suspension & engine diagnostics.
- Track record of high personal productivity.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts Tire Changing Equipment Tire Balancers Wheel Alignment Equipment etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree or ASE certifications a definite plus.
- Valid Drivers License that meets insurance guidelines.
- Personally owned tools required to complete jobs independently.
