Automotive Service Technician

VIP Auto Repair is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team.

As an Automotive Service Technician you will be responsible for properly diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles while ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose vehicle issues using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
• Properly repair and/or diagnose issues on a wide range of vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance services (brakes suspension engine work etc.)
• Accurately document findings and recommended repairs
• Communicate clearly with the service advisor regarding vehicle diagnosis
• Follow shop procedures and quality control standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Stay up to date with training and advancements in automotive technology (Training available)

We are looking for technicians who are skilled dependable and committed to doing the job right the first time.

Requirements:

• State of Michigan certification and/or ASE certifications (required)
• Proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostics
• Valid drivers license
