Automotive Service Advisor

Brooklyn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is expanding and looking for an Experienced Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our high-performing team. If you have experience with domestic brands such as Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Chevy or GMC we want to talk to you! Dispatch experience is a strong plus.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the service process

• Greet customers in person or by phone schedule appointments and ensure timely vehicle diagnosis

• Clearly explain recommended services repairs and associated costs

• Maintain strong communication between customers and technicians to ensure smooth workflow

• Generate repair orders invoices and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards

• Educate and advise customers on vehicle maintenance and repair needs

• Assist with dispatching repair orders to technicians when needed

• Ensure an excellent customer experience by delivering on-time high-quality service

• Attend team meetings training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills

• 2 years dealership Service Advisor / Service Writer experience REQUIRED

• Experience with Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram or other domestic brands strongly preferred

• Dispatch experience is a PLUS

• High school diploma or GED required (post-secondary automotive training a plus)

• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems

• Excellent customer service sales and communication skills

• Professional appearance with a friendly outgoing personality

• Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

• Computer proficiency (CDK experience a plus)

• Team-oriented dependable and highly organized
