Automotive Porter

Behind every great-looking lot is a great team keeping it that looking for a dependableAutomotive Porter to help keep our vehicle inventory organized and our dealership lot running safely and efficiently. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work is comfortable outdoors and wants to be part of a high-energy automotive team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles by comparing serial numbers against invoices; document any damage or missing accessories on the delivery receipt.
• Park new and sold vehicles in designated areas to keep the lot organized and maximize space.
• Catalog and store vehicle keys; assign stock control numbers to incoming inventory.
• Move sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department as directed.
• Service stored vehicles as needed to maintain tires batteries and vehicle finishes.
• Operate all company vehicles safely maintaining legal driving speeds on the lot and on the road at all times.
• Maintain lot safety and cleanliness in compliance with OSHA standards.

Requirements

• No prior automotive experience required well train you.
• Valid drivers license with a clean acceptable driving record (required).
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Dependable punctual and safety-minded with a good eye for detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay active throughout the shift.
