The Role
Were hiring an experienced Automotive Paint and Body Technician to deliver flawless finishes and structural repairs on hail-damaged vehicles. Youll be a critical part of our production team taking vehicles from damaged to showroom-ready and making sure every job that leaves our shop reflects the craftsmanship our customers expect. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career not just punch a clock.
What Youll Do
BODY REPAIR
Repair dents dings creases and hail damage using industry-standard techniques
Perform metal straightening filling sanding and surface prep
Replace damaged panels and components when repair isnt an option
Ensure all body repairs meet OEM standards and our internal quality benchmarks
PAINT & REFINISHING
Mix match and apply automotive paint to factory-quality standards
Prep surfaces including masking priming sanding and cleaning
Apply base coats clear coats and finishes using spray equipment
Color-match across panels for seamless invisible repairs
Perform buffing polishing and finish detailing
QUALITY CONTROL
Inspect your own work before handing off catch issues before they become problems
Coordinate with production staff and other technicians to keep jobs moving
Document repairs accurately and completely
SHOP SUPPORT
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Keep tools equipment and paint booth in proper working condition
Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE and handling of paint materials
TRAVEL
Travel to job sites and storm locations as needed (this is not optional)
All travel is company funded
Work efficiently in temporary and remote shop setups when deployed
What Were Looking For
2 years of experience as an automotive paint and body technician
Proven ability to color-match blend and deliver factory-quality finishes
Strong knowledge of body repair techniques materials and tools
Sharp attention to detail small misses become big problems in this industry
Strong work ethic you show up you follow through
Passion for doing good work and getting better at it
Career-minded you want to grow not just clock in
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Punctual and reliable
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Willing and able to travel (this is not optional)
Able to lift bend stand and work in varying shop and outdoor conditions
Compensation
$1200 to $1800 per week based on experience and production
Performance bonuses available
Company-funded travel
1099 contractor position
