Automotive Mechanic

As an Automotive Mechanic you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles ensuring safety reliability and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering top-tier automotive service.

What Youll do as a Automotive Mechanic:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines transmissions suspensions brakes and powertrains.
• Service vehicles through oil changes tire rotations wheel alignments and suspension repairs such as shocks and struts.
• Repair or replace automotive components such as brake systems air brakes (where applicable) and auto body parts.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to execute repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors.

What Were Looking For:

• Proven mechanic experience with dealership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics schematics and electrical systems.
• Experience repairing diesel engines and working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using hand tools power tools welding equipment and automotive repair machinery.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes tire service wheel alignment shocks & struts replacement.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
