Automation Engineer Nashville, TN.

Were seeking a Senior Automation & Controls Engineer to support and improve manufacturing automation systems in a fast paced production environment. This role will lead controls programming system integration troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Compensation

• $130000 - $145000
• Full-time direct hire position
• Nashville TN area

What Youll Do

• Program and troubleshoot PLC HMI and SCADA systems
• Support automation projects from concept through implementation
• Improve manufacturing efficiency uptime and system reliability
• Partner with production maintenance and engineering teams
• Support equipment startups upgrades and process improvements
• Diagnose and resolve controls and automation issues
• Assist with MES and system integration initiatives
• Develop and maintain technical documentation

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with HMI SCADA and controls integration
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
