Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Automation Controls Technician/Installer for a direct hire position with our client in Waterford CT

Pay:$48 - $55 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

Install conduit low-voltage wiring and BAS control components.
Mount wire label and terminate sensors relays actuators and other control devices.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Assist with system startup commissioning troubleshooting and owner training.
Prepare as-built documentation.
Coordinate work with other trades and attend project meetings as needed.
Maintain required licenses and certifications.
Follow all safety policies and use required PPE.
Communicate professionally with customers supervisors and team members.
Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects efficiently.
Work overtime varied shifts and travel occasionally as needed.

Qualifications

Connecticut E2 or L6 License required.
High school diploma or technical school certificate preferred.
25 years of BAS controls or electrical installation experience.
Valid drivers license.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Strong communication troubleshooting and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand walk climb ladders bend kneel crouch and work in confined spaces.
Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
Ability to safely perform physical work while using required personal protective equipment.
