• Repairs assembles installs and maintains production assembly machine systems

• Documents all maintenance activity and assists with machine downtime root-cause trouble-shooting activity

• Aids in creating both mechanical and software control code standards

• Understands pneumatic and hydraulic devices and how these respective systems/components are energized and controlled

• Understands AC/DC theory and AC/DC electronic circuits with their corresponding schematics

• Understands electronic feed-back sensor devices

• Can assemble and terminate (wire) control cabinet and machine components

• Understands electronic safety devices light curtains safety relays emergency stop circuits and operator input devices

• Creates and issues written trouble-shooting guides preventative maintenance work instructions and technical work instructions

• Understands ladder logic and machine control program

• High School diploma required

• Enrolled in a vocational degree (2-3 years Knowledge of electrical and mechanical machine applications

• Ability to read Blue Prints and wiring diagram

• Self-directed yet effective working part of a collaborative team
