About This Role

At Automated Logic a Carrier Company we provide a work home for seasoned experts. As a Field Engineer you are the primary technical owner for turn-key project delivery. We are looking for trusted advisors who can navigate complex system architectures and provide high-level mentorship to the field team.

Key Responsibilities

• Turn-Key Delivery:Own the install commissioning and troubleshooting ofDDC systems. Deliver full software solutions including sequencing graphics and alarms.

• Technical Leadership:Act as the lead resource andmentorfor juniortechs. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers ensuring predictable high-quality outcomes.

• Risk & Coordination:Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and align execution. Coordinate with teams to ensure clear communication and reliable delivery.

• Travel & Flexibility:Travel as neededand stay adaptable to shifting priorities project demands and field workloads.

• Proficiency & Growth:Demonstratedeepproficiencywith ALC products system architectures and ASHRAE guidelines. Apply thisexpertiseto deliver safe high-performance systems across complex customer environments.

• Project Integrity:Maintainexpert-level documentation including commissioning logs and progress tracking to ensure safe and compliant system delivery.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Mustpossessa valid current Drivers License and be insurable by the companys insurance carrier.

• Ability to lift items up to 50lbsand perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.

• Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership & Mentorship:Proven ability to act as a technical authority and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative field environment.

• Complex Project Delivery:Executes turnkey building automation solutions with minimal oversight focusing on high-quality field execution and resource management.

• Advanced Integration & Networking:High skills-levelproficiencyin integrating diverse platforms and managing complex TCP/IP and wireless networking.

• System Troubleshooting:Advanced diagnostic skills for resolving high-level technical challenges in controls sensors and software at the equipment and system level.

• Training & Communication:Dedicated to delivering site-specific technical training to building owners and operators whilemaintainingclear documentation.
