Auto Body Technician Apprentice
We are looking for a motivated Auto Body Technician Apprentice to join our collision repair team and begin building a successful career in the automotive industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn hands-on collision repair skills while working alongside experienced technicians in a professional shop environment. Rohrman Auto provides the tools mentorship and training needed to help you grow into a successful body technician.
Responsibilities
- Assist Auto Body Technicians with vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
- Learn basic collision repair techniques including sanding masking panel preparation and minor repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and workstations.
- Assist with moving vehicles and preparing vehicles for repair and delivery.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Learn to properly use body shop tools and equipment.
- Participate in manufacturer and in-house training programs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements
- Strong interest in automotive collision repair and willingness to learn.
- Previous automotive or shop experience is a plus but not required.
- Abilityto work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Positive attitude strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift bend stand and work with tools throughout the day.
