Were currently partnered with a growing public accounting firm in the Florissant MO area that is looking to bring on an Audit Manager to help lead and rebuild its audit function.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants more than just running engagementsyoull play a key role in shaping developing and growing an audit department from the ground up.

• Leading and managing audit engagements from planning through completion
• Developing and implementing audit processes procedures and best practices
• Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Serving as a key advisor to clients on audit financial reporting and risk matters
• Recruiting mentoring and developing audit staff
• Collaborating with firm leadership to build and expand audit services
• Driving process improvement and innovation within the audit function

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
• 5 years of audit experience in public accounting
• At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage engagements
• CPA or Masters degree preferred
• Strong communication analytical and organizational skills
